A million? A MILLION??

Well, here at ScienceBlogs, we’re heading for another milestone. Sometime in the next few weeks, we will have our millionth comment. If the past is any guide, there will be some celebratory swag, and hopefully, mini-meet-ups. We may have a little Michigan gathering of sciblings, readers, and others who may be interested. This would likely happen in mid-September, and I’d like to gauge the level of interest. Please either leave a comment or drop me an email to let me know if you might be interested in having a beer and chatting with various local or visiting science bloggers in Michigan, so I can get a feel for what to expect.

  1. Where in Michigan? And how much beer? (Both equally important questions given the state of today’s economy.)

  2. A modest amount of beer will probably be supplied free of charge. Current candidate areas are Detroit burbs, East Lansing, Ann Arbor.

  3. I’m down. I’m in Lansing, but Ann Arbor probably has some better beer options.

  4. Current 3rd year med student and long time lurker reporting… I would be interested in meeting up in the Detroit Burbs if my schedule permits. You should try to coordinate with Ed Brayton and some of the other MI scibloggers.

  5. Some part of me hopes it’s written by a troll who’s some strange amalgamation of Robert O’Brien, Kenny, & cooler.
